I came across this great resource looking for creative ideas for Lent. One of the links led me here. I think this is a really cool idea and would be great for an entire family to do. Discuss what you'd take, and why. Maybe create a spot (or several) in your house where you can all see each other's "sacred bundle." "Find seven items you would most want to take if you were travelling 40 days into a desert. Find a piece of Lenten fabric; a cloth that you feel best captures how you feel about entering Lent.
