Baptism

Holy Baptism is full initiation of by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ's Body the Church. The Episcopal Church recognizes infant baptism. All baptisms are conducted as part of regular church services. We recognize four days during the church year as being especially appropriate for baptism: Easter Vigil, Day of Pentecost, the Feast of All Saints, and the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord (Epiphany Sunday), though other dates may be arranged if necessary. Anyone desiring baptism for themselves or their children engages in a period of preparation in consultation with the priest-in-charge prior to the rite.
